Our Hands, Our Cause Bowling Fundraiser (8/28/10)

The employees of Florida Medical Clinic in conjunction with the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring are hosting their second annual “Our Hands, Our Cause” fundraiser.

This year our fundraiser will again be a bowling tournament to be held on Saturday August 28, 2010 at Pin Chasers in Zephyrhills.

There will be two bowling sessions:  12:00am – 2:00pm and again from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

Approximately 350 employees will be bowling to raise money for two local organizations:

Friends of Joshua House and Support The Troops

The Joshua House is a non-profit therapeutic residential shelter where abused and neglected children go when there is no where else to go.

Support The Troops sends “Care Packages” to our military troops overseas.  The postage for these much appreciated packages costs over $48,000 each month.

Last year the employees raised $20,000 with the bowling event.

The FMC Foundation of Caring matched those funds and did a full state of the art kitchen remodel at East Pasco Meals on Wheels for a total of $40,000.

With your help, we will certainly be able reach our goal to brighten the lives of the children of Joshua House and our troops so far from home.
